Coke oven shutter

The function and working principle of the coke oven shutter:

The coke oven opening and closing device is an auxiliary equipment of the coke oven,which is installed between the small flue and the branch flue of the coke oven to switch the airflow.

The coke oven shutter is an important device for controlling the amount of air used for heating the coke oven,introducing lean gas,and controlling the amount of exhaust gas discharged.

There are many types of coke oven shutters,which can be roughly divided into lever type double disc type and lever type flower type.Otto type coke ovens and some JN type coke ovens use a lifting rod dual type exhaust gas shutter.

It mainly consists of a cylinder,a steering wheel,two forks,and connecting pipes.The two forked parts are respectively connected to the small flue of the air storage chamber and the small flue of the gas storage chamber,with two air inlet doors on the upper part.When the air inlet door falls and the upper and lower discs inside the cylinder are all lifted,the exhaust gas in the heat storage chamber is introduced into the flue.The amount of exhaust gas can be adjusted by adjusting the flap.When the coke oven is heated with rich gas,both pallets fall down and the two inlet doors of the two forks open,thus entering the heating air.The air volume can be adjusted by changing the cross-sectional area of the inlet door.When heating with lean gas,only open the air inlet valve on one of the two forks to enter the air;Lock the air inlet door on a fork with a lean gas connection pipe tightly.The lean gas enters the gas storage chamber through the lean gas connection pipe.This type of exhaust gas shutter is not convenient for adjusting the amount of exhaust gas passing through the air and gas storage chambers.NBP type coke ovens are all lever type exhaust gas switches.This type of exhaust gas shutter has two types:gas air exhaust gas shutter and air exhaust gas shutter.The gas and air waste gas opening and closing device mainly consists of a cylinder,a transmission mechanism,a waste gas bowl,a gas separator,an air port cover,and a flue connecting pipe.
