Coke oven frame

The coke oven frame is an important equipment for the coke oven. It not only supports the furnace door, but also provides protection for the furnace body to adapt to the stress changes caused by thermal expansion of the masonry. When the protective pressure on the masonry is insufficient or cannot be adjusted, it will suffer varying degrees of damage, cracks, and a significant decrease in structural strength, seriously causing the furnace head to collapse and the carbonization chamber wall to deform, affecting the normal production of the coke oven. Therefore, maintaining the integrity of the furnace door frame is crucial for extending the service life of the coke oven.

The use of coke oven door frames is due to the fact that under hot working conditions, the door frames not only bear mechanical forces, but also thermal stresses caused by temperature differences. If the expansion of the furnace body is abnormal, a significant bending force will also be applied to the furnace frame. Under various forces, the furnace frame is prone to fracture, causing smoke and fire from the furnace door, seriously affecting the normal operation of the coke oven. For the treatment of damaged furnace door frames, the previous approach was to replace them as a whole, which took a long time and affected the normal production of the coke oven. Sometimes, more than 10 furnace frames need to be replaced every year, resulting in high maintenance costs and high costs.
