The edge of the furnace door blade is a rectangular door frame formed by welding four sections of irregular angle steel,with flat steel welded on one side of each section of angle steel.The knife edge web of the furnace door is a key component on the coke oven door,and the structure,material,and accuracy of the knife edge web directly affect the overall sealing performance of the furnace door.The installation forms of knife edge web plates and furnace door bodies vary with different structures,and the knife edge web plates also have advantages and disadvantages in terms of sealing performance,service life,daily maintenance costs,and ease of installation and replacement.

Frame type Z-shaped blade edge.Install the knife edge onto the furnace door body,and use the expansion of the knife edge frame after heating to create an interference between the knife edge frame and the furnace door body.After the knife edge frame cools down,it retracts to make the inner side of the knife edge frame tightly adhere to the surroundings of the furnace door body,achieving a sealing effect.There is no air cooling layer between the furnace door body and the Fire brick,so the heat in the furnace is easily transferred to the furnace door body.During the production process,the thermal deformation of the furnace door body is relatively large.

The edge of the furnace door blade is a protective iron piece for the coke oven.The function of the protective iron piece for the coke oven is to apply pressure to the furnace body to offset the stress generated by temperature changes,maintain the tightness and integrity of the coke oven masonry,and prevent cracking and deformation of the masonry.Due to the harsh working conditions of the iron parts used for protecting the coke oven,the furnace temperature alternates frequently between cold and hot during use,and the heating temperature is uneven.The coke side furnace frame and protective plate have been in a high-temperature environment for a long time,and there is a common occurrence of furnace door merging and deformation.The protective plate fractures early,cracks in the bridge pipe valve body and ascending pipe base,and short service life of the coal loading hole cover,fire observation hole cover,and temperature measurement hole cover,resulting in excessive consumption.The 3#coke oven of Laiwu Iron and Steel Group Coking Plant(referred to as Laiwu Iron and Steel Coking Plant)is a 42 hole JN43-80G type coke oven with a large protective plate structure,which is quite difficult to replace.In previous coke oven designs,cast iron HT150-200 was commonly used as the material for furnace protection iron parts.Due to its low strength,toughness,and poor thermal fatigue resistance,it directly affects the service life of furnace protection iron parts.
