Water seal seat and cover

If the water seal seat and cover are worn and grooved, they can be ground flat with sandcloth. If they are worn too much, they should be replaced; If there are rough scratches on the water seal seat, it can be repaired with a flat reamer or on a lathe. During major repairs, a new water seal component should be replaced. Welding repair is allowed when there are the following damages on the pump body: cracks within 30mm in length that do not extend to the bearing seat hole; There is a broken part on the flange that connects with the cylinder head; The oil seal seat hole is damaged. The bending of the water pump shaft should not exceed 0.05mm, otherwise it should be replaced. The damaged impeller blades should be replaced. If the hole diameter of the water pump shaft is severely worn, it should be replaced or sleeved. Check whether the water pump bearing rotates flexibly or has abnormal noise. If there is a problem with the bearing, it should be replaced. After the water pump is assembled, rotate it by hand to ensure that the pump shaft is not stuck, and the impeller and pump casing are free from friction. Then check the water pump displacement, and if there are any problems, the cause should be checked and eliminated.
