Coke quenching car

The quenching car is a supporting equipment for large coke ovens, usually running on the track below the coke side of the coke oven. It is used to carry the coke exported by the guide car at around 1000 degrees Celsius and transport it to the quenching room for quenching, and ultimately transport the extinguished coke coal to a designated location.

The coke oven quenching car starts working by waiting for the coke to be pushed in the coke oven. When the quenching car reaches the designated carbon chamber below, it will send a ready signal to the four car linkage system. When other vehicles are ready, it will start pushing the coke. At this time, the quenching car is used to receive the coke exported by the coke guide car at around 1000 degrees Celsius, which is then pulled by the electric locomotive into the quenching tower and transported to the coke drying platform for unloading, The end of one coke quenching operation.
